So much of my own personal journey has impacted the work I do today, leading me to become a 250 hour Yoga Instructor, Breath Coach and Facilitator in Chakradance™.

What is Chakradance?

CHAKRADANCE™ is a well-being movement practice. It uses spontaneous dance, to specific chakra-resonant music, for the purpose of healing and re-tuning your whole energy system.

At the heart of Chakradance is the music. For all of us, the seven major chakras are the energetic gateways through which body, mind and spirit come together, literally embodying the soul.

In Chakradance classes and courses, each of these seven chakras has its own unique body of wonderfully danceable music, resonating with its own specific vibrational frequencies.

My practice...

I combine a mixture of the following styles of yoga in my practice...

Vinyasa Flow is a style of practice characterised by stringing poses together, moving from one to the next with connection to breath. Power Yoga combines more strength building poses to raise the heart rate and Chakra Flow travels through the 7 chakras or energy centres, using music and visualisation to create a full mind, body experience.

The benefits of yoga are an increase in flexibility, balance and strength, not only physically but also mentally as yoga also trains the nervous system to be in more rested state.

I have taught in schools, corporate settings, gyms and dance studios, both in person and online. My sessions are always tailored to my students needs, abilities and ages while also providing the opportunity to develop their practice.

Amazing facts about breathing...

You can go for weeks without food, days without water, but only a few minutes without breathing. Breathing has such an immediate impact on your mind and body that even the act of inhaling vs. exhaling affects your nervous system differently. It’s common to train in diet, exercise and even hydration, but almost no one trains their breath. This is a huge missed opportunity for health-seekers.

I would love to teach you the simple and effective techniques of YOGABODY® Breathing.
